Meet the Taxidermist

Beach Bugs Taxidermy was founded in 2018 when Megan Beach started a small beetle farm for European Mounts as a part time hobby.
In May 2019, she attended Second Nature School of Taxidermy in Potomac, Montana where her passion for Taxidermy grew even stronger. In school, she learned all aspects of taxidermy. She mounted big game shoulder and full body mounts, waterfowl, birds and fish reproduction. She now resides in Castleton, Virginia and prefers to do big game shoulder mounts, European mounts with Dermestid Beetles and fish reproduction.
Megan grew up in Portland, Oregon and served over eight years in the United States Navy. After the military she moved to Wyoming and attended Eastern Wyoming College receiving her Associates in Applied Science and Veterinary Technology.
She has one rescue dog, two rescue cats and spends as much time in the outdoors, as she can. Megan loves to fish, hunt big game, waterfowl and birds (turkey is her favorite), hike and camp.
